Quebec
Quebec is a 2020 Lusitano stallion bred in Spain by Gardel Fernandes Silva and proudly owned by Swallowtail Farm LLC. Approved for breeding with a score of 72.1, Quebec exemplifies the quality, type, and character valued in the Lusitano breed.
He is known for his exceptional temperament, combining kindness, rideability, and a willing nature that makes him a pleasure both in training and in the barn. Currently in professional dressage training with Bridget Hay, Quebec is being thoughtfully developed with an emphasis on correct, classical foundations and long-term performance.
Quebec has already begun to distinguish himself as a sire, consistently stamping his offspring with size, substance, and eye-catching color. We are excited to continue evaluating his production, particularly with both APSL and warmblood mares.
He will be shown this season as his training progresses. For more information and breeding inquiries, please contact Swallowtail Farm LLC.
Ozono Do Pico
Ozono is a 2019 Lusitano gelding and former graded stallion, born in the Azores at Agroliveira do Pico, where he sired several APSL-registered offspring. He is sired by the Lusitano stallion Zulu, who produced nearly 60 Lusitanos and schooled Grand Prix before later being sold to France.
Once of riding age, Ozono was moved to Lisbon to continue his development under Michael Ferreira, a former student of Dr. Guilherme Borba and the Escola Portuguesa de Arte Equestre tradition. Before being gelded and imported to the United States, Ozono participated in stallion presentations throughout Portugal.
Today, he serves as the primary riding horse for Diana, founder of Swallowtail Farm. Ozono is full of character; he is clever, expressive, and just mischievous enough to keep life interesting. Beneath that personality, though, is a deeply loyal horse who takes exceptional care of his rider and forms strong bonds with the people he trusts.
Grace
Grace is an Elite 2011 KWPN mare by Florencio and out of Evita (Gribaldi x Matador), imported from Holland. Combining the rideability and expression of her sire line with the power and sensitivity of her dam line, Grace is an elegant and highly capable dressage horse.
Before retiring to focus on breeding, Grace schooled through Prix St. Georges and successfully competed through Third Level. In 2025, she was additionally registered with the Westfalen Verband, where she was recognized as a Top 5 mare in North America.
Now part of a selective breeding program, Grace is on a breeding lease and is expecting her first foal in 2026 by the acclaimed stallion Secret. Grace is admired for her elegant type, intelligence, elasticity, and exceptional work ethic, qualities we are excited to see carried forward into the next generation.
